**** RAJAN GUPTA, J. (Oral) Ld. State counsel submitted that the elections of the Gram Panchayat have already been held and notified. Therefore, the issue raised by the petitioner has been rendered redundant for the purpose of instant election. Under the circumstances, it appears that no cause of action survives. Accordingly, the instant petition is disposed of. Petitioner is however at liberty to seek revival in case any cause of action subsists.
