The limited prayer in the present petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is for expeditious hearing and disposal of the application moved by the petitioner for the release of his vehicle i.e. a Tractor bearing Registration No.HR-92-A-7998 on superdari.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the matter was last listed on 07.02.2022 and now stands adjourned to 20.09.2022 awaiting the report of the Mining Officer. The learned counsel would further contend that the application for release of the vehicle was made in November, 2021 and in a period of about 10 months the condition of the vehicle would deteriorate.
