**** ANOOP CHITKARA, J. (ORAL) Counsel for the applicant-appellant submits that leave to appeal filed by the State is also listed for today and he would be sa3sfied if he is permi4ed to assist/represent as appellant No.2 in the said appeal and permi4ed to withdraw the present leave to appeal.

On the other hand, counsel for the accused submits that the appellant has no locus to file the present leave to appeal as he does not fall in the defini3on of vic3m as he is only an informant. 3.

Given the submission of the State counsel as well as counsel for the applicant, the present leave to appeal is disposed of and applicant is permi4ed to assist the State in the appeal filed by the State of Punjab and he is arrayed as appellant No.2 in the said appeal. He is also permi4ed to argue the ma4er separately at the 3me of final hearing.
