(ORAL) This appeal is directed against the judgement and order dated 15.10.2019 passed by the learned Single Judge disposing of the writ petition filed by the petitioner (appellant herein) seeking a direction to the respondent-authorities to treat her eligible for the post of TGT (Punjabi). The short question for consideration in the present appeal is whether the appellant's experience as TGT (Punjabi) before qualifying the HTET test on 22.02.2014 can be taken into account for the purposes of awarding her two marks for each year.

The learned Single Judge has examined the issue and dismissed the writ petition on the ground that the petitioner's experience post 22.02.2014 shall be counted and prior to that her service from 2012 cannot be counted for the purposes of giving any marks. Learned counsel for the appellant has not been able to cite any judgement on this proposition that prior to acquiring the qualification, the marks for experience in teaching can be given. In view of the aforesaid, no ground for interference with the impugned order passed by the learned Single Judge is made out. The appeal accordingly stands dismissed.
