* * * * This writ petition has been filed challenging the award dated 16.02.1996 whereby the respondent workmen was ordered to be reinstated but without back wages. The operation of the award at the time of motion hearing was stayed by order dated 1.12.1996. The said order was, however, later on vacated on 27.05.1998. Notice was issued to the petitioner and it has been reported that the petitioner has since expired. Legal Representatives have also not been brought on record.

In view of the above the writ petition be consigned. Liberty is, however, granted to the petitioner to get it revived after moving appropriate applications.
