(ORAL) Through this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.31 dated 28.01.2022, registered under Sections 457 and 380 IPC, at Police Station Derabassi, District SAS Nagar. Vide order dated 03.03.2022 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court, the petitioner had been granted ad interim pre-arrest bail and directed to join investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the aforesaid order, the petitioner has joined investigation. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Paramjit Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined investigation and is now not required for any further investigation.

In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 03.03.2022 granting interim bail to the petitioner, is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
