Vide order dated 14.08.2018 passed in CWP-16290-2013 and other connected petitions, respondents were directed to take a conscious decision with regard to holding the TET annually in view of the guidelines issued by the NCTE.
Learned State counsel submits that TET Examination of the year 2018 has been conducted in the year 2019. The holding of examination was delayed due to litigation pending in this Court. COCP No. 780 of 2019 -2been initiated to conduct TET Examination for the year 2019 in this year within three months and immediately thereafter steps will be taken to conduct the TET Examination for the year 2020. Attempts will also be made to make it an annual feature.
In view of submission of learned State counsel, I find no reason to initiate any proceedings under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act against the respondents.
