There is a version and cross version,however, the prayer for anticipatory bail is based on a compromise dated 29.2.2016 entered upon by the accused party with the complainant-Manpreet Singh Bhotana.

Vide order dated 21.3.2016 while issuing notice of motion, petitioner, on surrendering before the trial court within 10 days, was directed to be released on interim bail.

CRM-M No.10025/2016 pursuant to the said order petitioner has surrendered before the trial court on 29.3.2016 and was released on interim bail. The said factual position is not disputed by the learned State counsel.

In view of the above, interim bail granted by the trial court pursuant to the order dated 21.3.2016 passed by this court, is made absolute.
