Prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the result dated 21.12.2001 of selection of Science Mistress (Medical) Backward Class Category, might not be even surviving due to efflux of time. 2.

In para 1 of the written statement to which there is no rebuttal, it has been stated that, "1. That according to criteria laid down by the Department for the selection of Science Máster/Mistress (Medical Group including all categories), the petitioner got 56.77% marks including marks for qualification as well as interview marks, for merit of the last selected candidate of the selected candidates (Women Backward Class Category) was 57.02% where as the petitioner had obtained 56.77% marks. The petitioner was not selected as she did not come in the merit of Backward Class Women selected candidates. It is denied that petitioner was not awarded interview marks. The merit of the petitioner is low. Due to this reason on the ground of merit, the petitioner could not be selected. Hence the petition is liable to be dismissed."
