The prayer in the present Civil Writ Petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus, for directing the respondent Nos.1 to 3 for appointing the petitioner on compassionate ground.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition to pursue the remedy before the department.
