(Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 is for issuance of direction to respondent No.1 to give compensation to the petitioner for loss of value of property i.e. Kingsten Brand CNC Vertical Machine, during custody of police, seized in FIR No.249 dated 15.05.2023, registered under Sections 336, 34, 427, 506 IPC (Sections 436, 420 and 120-B IPC added later on) at Police Station Gohana City, District Sonepat. After arguing the case for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to invoke alternative appropriate remedy on the same cause of action in accordance with law for redressal of grievances raised in the present petition.
