The petitioner has filed this second petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.185 dated 20.7.2018 registered for the offences under Sections 307, 326, 323, 324, 341 and 34 at Police Station Gate Hakiman, Amritsar.

Notice of motion to Advocate General, Punjab. Ms. Monika Jalota, learned Deputy Advocate General, Punjab has put in appearance on behalf of the respondent-State and contested this petition.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned State counsel and have gone through the record. From the record, I find that the present petitioner is named in HARPAL SINGH PARMAR 2019.02.22 16:20 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Cr. Misc. No.M-7147 of 2019 [2] the FIR. He is stated to be armed with a `Kahi' and hit Rajbir Singh-injured on the head which injury is stated to be dangerous to life. The case is at preliminary stage. There is every chance of tampering with the evidence. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case, nature and gravity of the offences, I do not find it a fit case where the present petitioner is entitled to the benefit of regular bail at this stage. Therefore, finding no merit in this petition, the same is dismissed.
