Mr. Rishav Jain, Advocate, for the petitioners. ***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) The petitioners are working as Masters/Mistresses and have been appointed on regular basis. Their grievance is that their junior (respondent no.3 herein) is drawing higher salary. A representation/legal notice dated 14.12.2018 (Annexure P-4) has been sent in this regard but no action has been taken thereupon till date.

Notice of motion to respondents no.1 and 2 only. On the asking of court, Ms. Ishneet Kaur, AAG, Punjab, who is present in court, accepts notice on behalf of the State. Let three copies of the petition be supplied to her during the course of the day. In view of nature of the order being passed, there is no necessity to seek written statement.

The writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2 to objectively consider the legal notice ( Annexure P-4 ) and pass a speaking order thereupon, within a period eight weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
