The petitioner, in the capacity as Patwari, had tampered with revenue record to favour co-accused by destroying the original record and preparing a new mutation. The investigation is complete. Challan has been presented. The petitioner has been in custody since 30.1.2016. It has been informed that the error committed by the petitioner stands rectified in the revenue record. No useful purpose will be served by keeping the petitioner in custody during the entire period of trial. The petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds/ surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial court.
