SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for directing the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondents no.4 to 6. This petition is premature, in the light of notification No.HOMEHM40 40SECM/14/2025-2H4/63 dated 23.01.2025 issued by the Department of Home Affairs, Punjab, Government of Punjab (Home-4 Branch). Faced with the situation, learned counsel for the petitioners prays for withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to take alternate remedy in the light of above-said notification.

Prayer is accepted.
