Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition is filed for issuance of writ in the nature of habeas corpus for release of Manpreet Kaur @ Laddy, who was in alleged illegal custody of respondents No.4, 5 and 8. Learned counsel further submits that now, the parties have settled the controversy and even the detenue has gone abroad.
