The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered vide FIR No.259 dated 23.8.2014 at Police Station Jandiala Guru, District Amritsar Rural under Section 22 of NDPS Act as he apprehended his arrest consequent upon cancellation of his bail. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that it was on account of some wrong impression rgarding date that the petitioner could not appear on the date fixed before the Trial Court i.e. 28.1.2020 and on account of which he later came to know that his bail has been cancelled. It has further been submitted that the petitioner had otherwise regularly been appearing before PANKAJ KAKKAR 2021.07.05 17:08 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

( 2 ) CRM-M-7332-2020 (O&M) the Trial Court ever since the challan was presented and has even now put in appearance after interim directions were issued by this Court on 6.3.2020. 3.

Learned State counsel has informed that pursuant to interim directions the petitioner has appeared before the Trial Court and has been appearing regularly thereafter.

In view of the aforestated position, wherein the petitioner has been appearing before the Trial Court ever since interim directions had been issued by this Court and he is not even found to be habitual absentee, the petition is accepted and the interim directions issued by this Court vide order 6.3.2020 are hereby made absolute.
