The petitioner is a Citizen Committee House Owners of Sector 25, Panchkula. It prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus seeking directions to the respondents to take effective measures to check the menace created by the monkeys in the area.

The learned counsel representing the petitioner draws the attention of the Court to the order passed by the co-ordinate Bench in Divyam Dhakla v. Chandigarh Municipal Corporation and Another (Civil Writ Petition No. 23261 of 2018, decided on 08.09.2020). 3.
After having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, at some length, this Court is of the considered view that the matter is required to be disposed of on the first date of hearing while directing the Municipal Corporation, Panchkula, to take all the possible measures in this direction.
