Mr. Ram Swaroop submits that pursuant to order dated 7.1.2015, he has sought instructions from Deputy Commissioner, Fazilka. According to record, possession of the land, on which Mahabir Cotton Ginning and Processing Factory is still existing, was taken over by the Nagar Council, Fazilka on 3.10.2007. In view of same, present petition is rendered infructuous.

Under the circumstances, it appears that no useful purpose will be served by adjudicating upon the matter. Petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous. However, counsel for the petitioner is given liberty to seek revival thereof in case any cause of action survives.
