During the pendency of this petition, the respondents are stated to have conducted an enquiry into the matter and the petitioner has been dismissed from service. The order of dismissal is appealable before the Appellate Authority.

In view of the above, this petition challenging the show cause notice has been rendered infructuous.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
