The present petition has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.135 dated 20.08.2022, under Sections 307 and 34 of IPC and Sections 25 and 27 of Arms Act, registered at Police Station Sadar Bathinda, District Bathinda.

Learned counsel for the petitioner as well learned State counsel has pointed out that although the concession of anticipatory bail was granted to the petitioner on 14.03.2024 and was directed to join the investigation, however, since the petitioner was summoned by the trial Court, the order dated 14.03.2024 deserves to be modified to the said extent.

In light of the above and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to surrender before the trial Court within 10 days from today and he shall be released on bail in accordance with law. 4.

Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any stands disposed of.
