The petitioners seek issuance of a direction to the official respondents to protect their lives and liberty as they apprehend threat to the same at the hands of private respondents, who are opposed to marriage of the petitioners. 2.

Learned State counsel, upon whom service of advance notice had already been effected, has submitted that statements of the petitioners have been recorded by the local police and both the petitioners have stated that they do not have any threat perception as of now.

In view of the aforestated position, the instant petition is disposed off having been rendered infructuous.
