The petitioner has been in custody w.e.f. 3.12.2015 in a case which was registered at the instance of Sarv Mitar alleging that on 14.11.2015 when he was going towards his house on a motor cycle, he was hit by i 20 car being driven by the petitioner, on account of which he fell down and other co-accused Ranjit Singh and Lakha Singh had fired on the complainant after getting out of the car and having escaped from the spot. Co-accused Ranjit Singh has been granted the concession of regular bail by this court on 19.7.2016. The petitioner has not been named in the FIR. He was involved in the case on the basis of disclosure statement of his co-accused and the supplementary statement made by the complainant.
Taking into consideration the fact that the complainant has not suffered any grievous injury at the hands of any one, the petitioner can be granted the concession of bail.
The petition is allowed. The petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds/ surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial court.
