The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.0098 dated 25.11.2019, under Sections 498-A/406 IPC, registered at Police Station Shahpur Kandi, District Pathankot as well as all other subsequent proceedings arising out of the said FIR, on the basis of the compromise effected between the parties. As per report received from the Trial Court, none of the parties have got their statements recorded.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has resiled from the compromise so effected between the parties and hence, this petition has been rendered infructuous.

In these circumstances, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he be permitted to withdraw the instant petition. Ordered accordingly.
