JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J.

(Oral) The prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of impugned order dated 06.01.2020 (Annexure P-6) passed by the Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Rohtak whereby the petitioner has been declared a proclaimed person and for quashing of the order dated 10.02.2020 (Annexure P-7) passed by the Judicial Magistrate 1st Class Rohtak whereby a direction has been issued for registration of FIR under Section 174-A IPC in Criminal Complaint No.576 of 2018 dated 15.02.2018 titled as 'Pardeep Kumar Vs. Anand Kumar' under Sections 138, 148 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

CRM-M-7444-2020 - 2 - In the meantime, operation of the impugned orders passed against the petitioner are stayed, subject to the condition that he surrenders before the Ld. Trial Court and applies for bail within one week from today." In deference of the aforementioned order dated 19.02.2020, the petitioner has surrendered and has since been granted the concession of interim bail as is apparent from the order dated 24.02.2020 passed by the Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Rohtak (Annexure P-8). In furtherance to the aforementioned order, the order dated 10.02.2020 (Annexure P-7) was recalled and therefore no FIR came to be registered under Section 174-A IPC.

In view of the fact that the petitioner has surrendered and has since been admitted to interim bail, no useful purpose would be served by allowing the instant proceedings to continue and therefore, the impugned order dated 06.01.2020 (Annexure P-6) stands quashed, subject to the deposit of Rs.25,000/- with the Sadhna Society for the Mentally Handicapped, Near Housing Board Chowk, Raen Basera Building, Manimajra, Sector 13, Chandigarh.
