**** JAGMOHAN BANSAL , J. (Oral) The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect their life and liberty.

Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia submits that the son of the petitioner has solemnized marriage with respondent No.4. The son of the petitioner, at present, is in New-zealand. Their daughter-in-law has left her matrimonial home on 13.06.2022 along with gold ornaments and a sum of Rs.70,000/-. They have filed representations dated 15.06.202, 07.12.2022 and 20.12.2022 against their daughter-in-law, however, police is not looking into their representations rather police is harassing them. Learned State counsel on instructions from SI Gurdiayal Singh submits that competent authority would look into the representations of the petitioner and do the needful.

In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the jurisdictional police authorities are directed to look into the representations of the petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law. Disposed of.
