(ORAL) This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 8 dated 09.02.2018 under Sections 306, 120-B of the IPC, registered at Police Station Sanour, District Patiala. This Court was pleased to pass the following order on 14.03.2018 :- "It is inter alia contended that the petitioner herein is 70 years of age and she would not abscond or influence the witnesses in case bail is granted to her and she will cooperate with the investigation. It is further submitted that the deceased was the daughter-in-law of the petitioner herein having solemnized the marriage 28 years prior thereto with the son of the petitioner. On account of her quarrelsome nature a Panchayati compromise had been effected between the parties which the complainant was well aware of, however, has not mentioned the said compromise while registering the Satyawan 2018.05.15 17:25 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh

Keeping in view the age of the petitioner, in the meantime, in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on interim bail subject to her furnishing personal bonds and surety to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and shall abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and he is not required for investigation any further.

Learned counsel for the respondent-State confirms the aforesaid fact.

Since the petitioner has joined the investigation, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 14.03.2018 is hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner will not tamper with evidence or hamper the investigation; will not leave India without permission of the Court and will comply with the conditions contained in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. 14.05.2018 (JAISHREE THAKUR) Satyawan JUDGE Whether speaking/reasoned Yes.
