HARNARESH SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Case is taken up for hearing through Video Conferencing. Through this second petition, the petitioner seeks regular bail in case bearing FIR No.50 dated 31.05.2016, registered at Police Station Subhanpur, Disrict Kapurthala, under Section 22 NDPS Act. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Jaswinder Singh, submits that the prosecution evidence stands concluded and now, the case before the trial Court is fixed for defence evidence on 25.08.2021. Even otherwise, the petitioner stands convicted in some other case of a similar nature.

Keeping in view the fact that the trial is at the fag end, I do not find any ground to grant the regular bail to the petitioner. Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
