(ORAL) In this writ petition, the petitioner seeks decision on his claim for grant of deemed date of promotion on the post of Sub Inspector from the date when his junior i.e. respondent No.4 was granted promotion.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the grievance in question the petitioner has already made a representation dated 15.11.2022 in compliance of the directions issued on 19.09.2022 by the respondent authority. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied in case his representation is ordered to be decided by the Competent Authority in accordance with law in a time bound manner.
