The petitioner has invoked the jurisdiction of this Court in terms of Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking prayer by way of writ of mandamus for issuance of directions to the respondents to grant increment on account of promotion of the petitioner as SMO and to decide the legal notices dated 4.8.2020 and 2.1.2021, Annexure P-3 & P-6.

Upon hearing learned counsel of both the sides and on perusal of the records, the present petition stands disposed off with the directions to the official respondents to consider the legal notices dated 4.8.2020 & 2.1.2021, Annexure P-3 & P-6, as representations and decide the same, moved by the petitioner, in accordance with law, by passing a speaking order preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
