Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No. 143 dated 02.06.2012 registered under Sections 420/120-B IPC at Police Station Patti , District Tarn Taran.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Panna Lal, who is present in court, at the outset submits that present petition has been filed at a stage when investigation of the case is pending. Thus, same deserves to be dismissed. Heard.

FIR was lodged by respondent no. 2 - Ashok Kumar who alleged that accused-petitioner had tried to take forcible possession of the land of his Institution by forging documents. According to stand of the State, investigation has now been completed and challan shall be presented before the competent court of jurisdiction within one month.
