**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 16 dated 15.2.2018, registered under Sections 323, 341, 506, 148, 149 IPC (Sections 325 and 308 IPC added later on), Police Station Mahilpur, District Hoshiarpur.

Vide order dated 20.2.2019 passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court, the petitioner was granted interim bail and was directed to join the investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that pursuant to the order dated 20.2.2019 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation.

Learned counsel for the complainant submits that the petitioner has been attributed an injury with kirpan blow on the backside of the head GURPREET SINGH 2020.02.07 17:36 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh of the complainant and moreover, there are 15 other injuries on the person

CRM-M No. 7430 of 2019 -2of the complainant.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Om Parkash, submits that the petitioner has joined investigation and the kirpan has been recovered from him and he is no more required for any further investigation. Learned State counsel also submits that two accused have been declared proclaimed offender.

Keeping in view all the above facts, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 20.2.2019 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
