Only grievance of the petitioner is that investigation is proceeding at a snail's pace. Necessary steps to complete the investigation are not being taken.

Assistance of the Mr. Shilesh Gupta, Addl. A.G. Punjab was sought on the last date of hearing. He submits that investigation is proceedings promptly. In fact petitioner has been found innocent by the investigating agency. He, on instructions from ASI Mahinder Pal, who is present in court, submits that efforts shall be made to complete the investigation expeditiously. In view of statement made by learned State counsel, no further direction is necessary. Disposed of.
