In the High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh CRM-M-9409 of 2023 Date of Decision: 22.02.2023 Bhupinderjit Kaur ---Petitioner versus State of Punjab and others ---Respondents

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE JAGMOHAN BANSAL

Present:

Mr. Saurabh Singla, Advocate for the petitioner Mr. Amish Sharma, AAG, Punjab **** JAGMOHAN BANSAL, J. (ORAL) The petitioner, through the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., is seeking direction to official respondents to look into her representation dated 22.09.2022.

Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that petitioner has lodged complaint against respondent Nos. 4 to 11 alleging commission of offence punishable under Sections 406, 498A, 323 and 506 IPC. The petitioner moved a complaint to the police on 22.07.2022, however, respondent No. 4 compromised the matter and undertook to stay with the petitioner. The respondent undertook that no relative would interfere in their married life. The petitioner withdrew the complaint but she was again turned out from her matrimonial home after giving beating on 04.09.2022. The police is not looking into her fresh representation dated 22.09.2022. PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2023.02.22 15:55 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRM-M-9409 of 2023 -2Notice of motion.

Mr. Amish Sharma, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sudesh Kumar, assures the Court that competent authority would look into representation dated 22.09.2022 of the petitioner and do the needful. This Court is sanguine of the fact that investigating agency would look into representation of the petitioner and take the matter to its logical end.

In view of statement of learned State counsel, no further order is warranted.
