(Oral) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 482 for issuance of appropriate orders or directions to the official respondents to comply with directions as issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Arnesh Kumar Vs. State of Bihar and another, 2014(3) RCR (Crl.) 527 as well as Rajesh Kumar & Ors. Vs. State of UP & another, 2017(3) RCR (Crl.) 836 while dealing with complaint dated 02.02.2018 (Annexure P/1) submitted by the respondent-complainant.

The learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners and the complainant-respondent have since resolved their dispute before the Investigating Officer at the Police Station vide settlement dated 26.05.2018 (Annexure P/2) and after the said settlement they are

Crl. Misc. M-10803 of 2018 (O&M) -2residing together. He further prays that since the matter has been compromised between the parties, the present petition may be allowed to be withdrawn.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State admits to the factum of settlement between the parties, who are, in fact, present in Court.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn on the basis of the compromise (Annexure P/2) that has been arrived at between the parties.
