The instant Writ Petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking a writ in the nature of certiorari and mandamus for quashing the impugned order dated 08.09.1999 (Annexure P-3).

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 3.

Learned State counsel submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous as the petitioner had sought quashing of order dated 08.09.1999 (Annexure P-3), whereby the District Development and Panchayat Officer, Patiala while exercising his powers under Section 200(1) of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 had appointed Sh. Sampuran Singh, S.E.P.O. as Administrator of Gram Panchayat, Bhootgarh for spending the grants of Rs.75,000/- for Dharamshala of Scheduled Castes and Rs.1,00,000/- for roads and drainage of the Village, whereas the term of the HIMANI GUPTA 2024.09.25 14:26 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document/judgment High Court, Chandigarh

In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances, the instant Petition is dismissed in default.
