Learned counsel for the petitioners has, restricted his prayer in the instant petition to the affect that the trial Court be directed to expedite the proceedings and conclude the same in a time bound manner. 2.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners and upon perusal of the record, it transpires that the FIR in question was registered on 27.2.2015, whereas challan in the instant case was presented on 10.12.2016 and charges were framed on 7.6.2017. 3.

Keeping in view the entirety of the facts and circumstances of the case, trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same, preferably within six months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order subject to any stay orders passed by the High Court.
