JASGURPREET SINGH PURI , J. (ORAL ) The present petition has been filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.74 dated 21.12.2019, under Section 420 IPC and Section 13 of the Punjab Travel Professionals (Regulation) Act, 2014, registered at Police Station Garhdiwal, District Hoshiarpur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there was a financial dispute between the parties for the alleged amount of RAJ KUMAR ARORA 2020.11.12 17:48 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-7576-2020 (O&M) Rs.3,50,000/- and thereafter, the matter has been settled between the petitioner and the complainant. He has further submitted that the petitioner has already paid the total outstanding amount and has compromised the matter.

Notice was issued on 22.09.2020 and Mr.Nitin Verma, Advocate, had also appeared on behalf of the complainant. Today also, Mr.Nitin Verma, Advocate, has appeared on behalf of the complainant and stated that the matter has been compromised and they have received the amount in the present case. While issuing notice, it was directed that in the event of arrest of the petitioner, he shall be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and shall abide by the terms and conditions laid down under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sushil Kumar, has stated that the petitioner has joined investigation and fully cooperated with the investigation process. He has further submitted that the petitioner is no longer required for custodial interrogation. In view of above stand taken by the learned State counsel, the present petition is allowed. Interim order dated 22.09.2020, is hereby made absolute.
