(ORAL) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.20, dated 24.01.2021 (Annexure P-1), registered at Police Station Civil Lines Batala, under Sections 324, 323, 380, 148, 149 IPC (Section 326 IPC added later on) on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2). Pursuant to orders dated 22.03.2021 and 20.07.2021, report dated 11.08.2021 has been received from Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Batala, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them without any coercion and undue influence.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and FIR No.20, dated 24.01.2021 (Annexure P-1), registered at Police Station Civil Lines Batala, under Sections 324, 323, 380, 148, 149 IPC (Section 326 IPC added later on) along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners.
