Mr.Kirat Singh Sidhu,DAG Punjab assisted by HC Raghubir Kumar Jaswant Singh,J(Oral) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail to accused petitioner Rajan Sharma in case FIR No.43 dated 8.8.2014 under Sections 420,506,120-B IPC,PS Sadar,Pathankot.

Complainant Surjit Kaur alleged that non-applicant co accused Deepak @ Goldy had led her for making a payment of Rs.1.5 lacs on the pretext of sending her son to Iraq. Neither the son was sent to Iraq nor money was returned.

Name of the petitioner has surfaced on the disclosure statement of the co-accused Deepak @ Goldy as to be involved in sending people abroad.

It is contended that apart from merits of the case Surinder Kaur has arrived at an amicable settlement with the petitioner and his RAJINDER PRASHAD JOSHI 2016.05.28 17:56 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M 10992/2016 co-accused Goldy as per affidavit dated 11.2.2016(P-2). At the time of hearing today,learned State counsel submits that parties have compromised and hence custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no longer required.

In view of the above, interim order dated 31.3.2016 is made absolute.
