SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection to life and liberty of petitioners.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that on the complaint of respondent No.4 that elder son of petitioners No.1 and 2 namely Sukhwinder Singh has eloped with his daughter, the police is harassing the petitioners, who are not aware of whereabouts of Sukhwinder Singh. The petitioners also apprehend danger to their lives and liberty at the hands of private respondents who are agitated due to elopement of their daughter. In this regard, petitioners moved a representation dated 17.03.2017 (Annexure P-1) to Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar (Mohali) seeking protection of their lives and liberty. In view of the submission of learned counsel for the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on merits, petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar (Mohali) to look into the representation dated 17.03.2017 (Annexure P-1) Sachin Mehta 2017.03.24 18:36 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document HIGH COURT, CHANDIGARH
