******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Present petitions have been filed under Section 438 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to petitioners in case FIR No. 01 dated 03.02.2017 registered for offences punishable under Sections Jitender Kumar 2018.05.09 16:15 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M-10917 of 2018 -2409, 420, 467, 468, 471 read with Section 120-B of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and 13 (1) (D) read with Section 13 (2) of Prevention of Corruption Act, at Police Station Vigilance Bureau, District Jalandhar. Heard.

Learned State counsel submits that petitioners have joined the investigation. Other co-accused named in the FIR have already been granted anticipatory bail by coordinate Bench of this Court. Investigation is still in progress and challan will be presented in due course. In view of submissions of learned State counsel and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is allowed and orders dated 23.03.2018 passed in CRM-M-10917-2018, 26.03.2018 passed in CRM-M-11674-2018, 27.03.2018 passed in CRM-M-12737-2018 and 05.04.2018 passed in CRM-M-13986-2018 are made absolute till the presentation of challan, subject to the following terms:- (i) that petitioners shall make themselves available for interrogation by the police as and when required; (ii) that petitioners shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the accusation against them so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer;

(iii) that petitioners shall not leave India without the prior permission of the Court.

(iv) that petitioners will seek regular bail on the presentation of challan in Court.
