(Oral) It is contended that petitioner No.1 - Parmeet Kaur, aged about 19 years has got married with petitioner No.2- Najar Singh, aged about 20 years, against the wishes of her family members, arrayed as private respondents No. 4 and 5, who is threatening to interfere in their marital life, as such to seek protection in that regard, the petitioners have approached this Court by way of filing the present petition.

The petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, to look into the grievances of the petitioners and to take necessary measures to ensure that lives and liberty of the petitioners are not jeopardized at Banita Chugh 2018.03.15 15:27 I am the author of this document
