Cr.M.No.M-10083 of 2015 -2Islamabad, Amritsar. As per the version given in the F.I.R., it was stated that the petitioner along with 10/15 persons had attacked one Rakesh Kumar giving him numerous injuries. The petitioner is alleged to be armed with a Kirpan and caused injuries on the little finger of the injured. Statement of Rakesh Kumar was recorded after 45 days.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that petitioner is in custody for the last about seven months and challan has been submitted and his co-accused who are similarly placed, have been granted the benefit of bail. On due consideration of the matter and noticing the fact that the petitioner is in custody for the last seven months and his co-accused have been granted bail and also noticing the fact that the trial is likely to take some time, I deem it appropriate to accept the petition and enlarge the petitioner on bail to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court.
