(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus for issuance of direction to respondent No. 2 to decide the legal notice dated 02.06.2022 (P-3) for grant of exemption of special road tax.

On asking of the Court, Ms. Anu Pal, Sr. DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State and on instructions, states that the above legal notice of the petitioner will be decided at the earliest.

In view of the above statement, the present petition stands disposed of by giving direction to respondent No. 2 to decide the legal notice dated 02.06.2022 (P-3) of the petitioner, in accordance with law, by passing a speaking order, within a period of four weeks from the date of passing of this order.
