[1] The matter is taken up for hearing through video conference due to COVID-19 situation.

[2] This is a petition filed for grant of anticipator bail in F.I.R. No. 250, dated 6th December, 2016, under Section 304-B read with Section 34 of IPC, registered at Police Station Tanda, District Hoshiarpur.

[3] On 20th February, 2020, following order was passed:- "It is, inter alia, contended that he was not named in the FIR that was got registered at the behest of father of the deceased and consequently, in the investigation that was done, his name was kept in column No.2. Subsequent to the charges framed, the matter was heard by the Additional Sessions Judge, PANKAJ BAWEJA 2021.07.22 15:07 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document HIGH COURT, CHANDIGARH

Hoshiarpur, who has acquitted other co-accused on 21.01.2020.

Notice of motion for 15.07.2020.

On the asking of Court, Mr. Sidakmeet Singh, AAG, Punjab, who is present in Court accepts notice for the respondent-State. Counsel for the petitioner is directed to supply requisite number of copies of complete paper book to counsel appearing for the respondent-State during the course of day. Meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation within a period of one week and on his doing so, the petitioner be released on interim bail subject to his furnishing personal bonds and surety to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, the petitioner shall continue to join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and shall abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C."

[4] Today, Ms. Monika Jalota, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab on instructions from A.S.I. Pargat Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is not required. [5] In view of statement made, interim bail granted to the petitioner is made absolute.

[6] The petition is disposed of.
