NAMIT KUMAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the Instructions dated 09.03.2000 (Annexure P-4). Further a writ of prohibition has been sought for staying the operation of the Instructions dated 09.03.2000 (Annexure P4), qua the petitioners. Lastly, a writ of mandamus has been sought for directing the respondents to allow the petitioners for the pay-scale of Rs.2200-4250 being 50 years of age and seniority of the petitioners may not be disturbed or lowered down.
