*6 748 Present writ petition has been filed for quashing the impugned order dated 08.01.2024 (Annexure P-2) passed by respondent No.2 vide which the petitioner has been suspended from the post of Sarpanch of village Nangal, without affording appropriate opportunity of hearing to him to present his case before passing the impugned order and in view of the order dated 12.10.2023 (Annexure P-3) passed by this Court in CRM-M-10032-2019 titled as Harjinder Kaur versus State of Punjab as well as order dated 12.02.2024 (Annexure P-8) passed by respondent No.4 and same are contrary to the provisions laid down in Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 and principles of natural justice. Further prayer has been made for staying the operation of impugned order dated 08.01.2024 (Annexure P-2) passed by respondent No.2 as well as order RITTU 2024.02.21 10:00 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
