Today physical hearing was held but on request of learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter is taken up by way of hybrid hearing.

This petition is filed for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No. 405 dated 10th December, 2019, under Section 61 (1) of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 registered at Police Station Phillaur, District Jalandhar. This Court vide order dated 20th February, 2020, granted the interim bail subject to joining investigation. Learned State Counsel, on instructions from ASI Bhupinder Singh submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is co-operating.

As no custodial interrogation is needed, the interim bail granted on 20th February, 2020 is made absolute. Disposed of accordingly.
