NIDHI GUPTA, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this 1st petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C., is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 246 dated 23.07.2023 registered under Sections 363, 366-A and 506 IPC and Section 4 and 17 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 at Police Station Chhappar, District Yamuna Nagar. On instructions from ASI Rajinder Kumar, learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner in the present case stands acquitted by the learned trial Court vide judgment of acquittal dated 05.03.2024 and this fact has also been reflected in the custody certificate dated 23.07.2024, placed on record by learned counsel for the State in Court today. Thus, it is submitted that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner, despite the case having been called twice.
